Auditor reviewing printed financial statements and notes on a desk

Engagement

Financial Statement Audit

Independent examination of annual financial statements for lenders, investors, and board reporting under Taiwanese accounting practice.

Who it is for

Privately held companies, subsidiaries, and growing firms in southern Taiwan that need audited statements for banks, partners, or group reporting.

What you receive

An independent auditor’s report and a clear findings letter your finance team can act on before filing or lending deadlines.

Scope

Balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and notes. Sampling of revenue, inventory, receivables, and related-party balances. Walkthroughs of key close controls.

Included

  • Planning meeting and risk assessment tailored to your industry
  • Fieldwork at your Kaohsiung-area office or agreed site
  • Draft findings discussion before the final report
  • Signed auditor’s report and management letter

Not included

  • Bookkeeping or preparing the statements themselves
  • Tax return preparation (available as a separate engagement)
  • Continuous monitoring or monthly close support

Who leads the work

Led by a senior auditor with supporting staff for testing and documentation.

Process

  1. Engagement letter and independence confirmation
  2. Planning and request list
  3. Fieldwork and inquiry
  4. Draft review with management
  5. Final report issuance

Duration

Typically four to eight weeks from kickoff, depending on record readiness and entity complexity.

Location

On-site in Kaohsiung County where practical; remote document review for selected procedures.

How to prepare

Trial balance, bank confirmations in progress, inventory count schedule, and access to general ledger detail.

Constraints

We do not audit entities where independence is impaired. Peak season (January–April) requires early booking.
